Turkish PM tries to mend ties between Pakistan opposition and government

Islamabad: Turkish Prime Minister Tayyeb Erdogan strives to mend ties between strained Pakistani government and opposition led by PML'N'.

Turkish PM wished same 'solidarity and cooperation' between government and opposition when he visited four years ago. He said, “If I say this ceiling is white, our opposition would say it is black".

He said that the opposition should always be constructive to serve the common benefits of the people.

He stressed that if the government and the opposition would keep fighting with each other, the people of the country will suffer profoundly.

He said, “We should put the people first. The state is secondary. The purpose of the state is only to serve the people, and not anything else.”
