On Thursday, an anti-narcotics court took the
unusual step of issuing an arrest warrant for former textiles minister
Makhdoom Shahabuddin over a drugs scandal.
Makhdom Shahabuddin was the first choice for President Asif Zardari to succeed Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani who was disqualified by Supreme Court of Pakistan.
