Islamabad : An strategic Pakistan Air Force base, equipped with modern air crafts came under attack early in the morning, leaving eight terrorists killed.
According to Pakistani media reports PAF Base Kamra came under attack at about 02:20 am, eight terrorists equipped with modern equipment, RPGs and were wearing suicidal jackets attacked the base.
Press release by Pakistan Air Force stated that one security person is killed and an aircraft was slightly damaged due RPGs fired by terrorists.
Initial report suggested that all attackers were foreigners.
Terrorists has similarly attacked on PNS Mehran previously damaging two Orien Naval Air crafts.
PAF Base Kamra is known to be the home of JF 17 thunder and AWACS air crafts.
