Colombo : West Indies has defeated Australia in Second Semi Final of World T20 here by 74 runs.

Earlier, West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first and scored tournament's best score of 205/4 in 20 overs, in reply Australians were all out on 131.
Chris Gayle remained not out by scoring 75 runs by hitting 6 sixes and 5 fours in just 41 balls. West Indies players hit over all 14 sixes and 13 fours in their innings.
The Australians started poorly with their six batsman fallen on just 43 runs with skipper Bailey earning a bit respect for his team by scoring 63 runs with hitting 4 sixes and 6 fours.
Chris Gayle was given man of the match. West Indies are to play vs host Sri Lanka on this Sunday in the finals of T20 World cup.
