Dubai : A Super over has decided the series between Pakistan and Australia after a thriller match, rare of its kind.
After winning the toss Pakistan decided to bat first and scored 151 for 4 wickets. Muhammad Hafeez and young Nasir Jamshed scored 45 each whereas, wicketkeeper batsman Kamran Akmal remained not out on 43.
In reply, Australia scored 151 for 8 wickets, Bailey scored 42 runs.
in the Super Over match, which was a decider Umer Gul bowled superbly and gave away 11 runs, in reply Pakistan scored 12 runs on the last ball.
Pakistan is now leading the three match series with 2-0.
Saeed Ajmal was awarded man of the match.
