Pakistan boycotts ICC Awards

Colombo : Pakistan Cricket Board has announced that they will partially boycott the ICC Awards ceremony in a protest to not include Saeed Ajmal who is world's No 1 bowler in one day and T20 format and No 3 in Test cricket.

Although PCB has decided that they will send lower officials in the award ceremony to represent Pakistan.

On the other hand, ICC has awarded Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara three awards of  test player and cricket of the year.

Kohli wins best player of one day award, Levi wins T20 award, Vettori gets spirit of the year.

Dharmaseni of Sir Lanka gets Umpire of the Year awards.

No player of Pakistan was awarded any awards despite Saeed Ajmal occupying No 1 position in oneday and T20 ranking, and 2nd position in Test ranking.

Pakistan sees this action ICC bias, strangely Aleem Dar which is known as the best umpire of the world was also not given any award by ICC.
