| West Indies becomes T20 Champion of 2012 |
Colombo: West Indies has become T20 Champion by Defeating host Sri Lanka here in Colombo.
West Indies Won the toss and decided to bat first on a dead pitch and was troubled by Sri Lankan bowlers but some how they managed to score 137 for 6 wickets thanks to Samuels who scored 78 runs.
Mendis took 4 wickets for 12 runs.
In reply, Sri Lanka were all out on 101 runs and West Indies won the match by 36 runs. Narine took 3 wickets for 9 runs.
Samuels was awarded man of the match.
